Saturday June 15, 2013, 5 hours 147 hours total. Today it was finally time to inventory the wing kit. The wing kit comes in two crates. This crate holds all the skins, leading edge etc. Also in this box was the optional lighting kit. Everything it appears is pre-bent. At the end of the inventory, all parts were present and accounted for- nice job Van's.
After inventory it was time to organize the work space. I tipped the one crate on it's side and populated it with all the skins.
These parts are all part of the rear wing assemblies rear spar
And these are the two main wing spars. They are well constructed, a thing of beauty. Van's sends these pre-assembled, pre-constructed. This are massive assemblies, look very strong.
